The ears are feeding on In Due Time - The Final Showdown

So I've decided to tell everyone what I've been eating and what I've been listening to. What fun.

Fascinating. Random wikis are very... informative, and slightly useless. I just learnt about Christian Heinrich Spiess.

Sunday
Met KurtStephenAnnaEddieNathanAnsell at the ghetto lan place. Sat at Starbucks, but most of them eventually left so MegNathanKurtandI went to Fort Canning to play cards. I won three out of four games. Har har. Ooh, thrice. I can't look at the word thrice without thinking of Thrice. I met the rocking chair (that isn't made out of wood, rather interestingly) the parents bought over the weekend when I got home. Eldred and Denise came over after dinner.

Monday
Lunch with Kurt, semi-window shopping with Rach and Meg. Couldn't find a nice pair of jeans, though. They got their hair cut while I sat around quite patiently. :-) It was sooo fun and incredibly girly.

Tuesday
What was supposed to be my errand-ey day became Kurt's, but it was good fun. Except it was exceedingly hot. Walked everywhere like two crazy overheated people, had the nicest sandwich for lunch, ran out things to do, so we decided to go to his house, where Tessy - crazy dog - bit me on my mouth when he opened the door but I forgave her on the spot because she was just too cute. We watched almost all of Equilibrium until the thing decided to stop playing towards the end, made an awesome smoothie, heard Eddie scream a lot, watched Jon Stewart interview Kermit the frog and Lewis Black rant about video games, decided to not go see Munich because it started to rain, had dinner with his family and Eddie and Anna, talked about some political issues, went to the playground where it got a little bit adventurous for the most part, Stephen nearly died, lost the dog a couple of times, and... I guess we did a whole lot of stuff. Tuesday was awesome.

Wednesday
Prayer meeting was great. Prayed with MegRachJeanne about some seriously serious and sometimes funny stuff. Learned a lot of things, too.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:6-8

Thursday
What a week. I can't believe Thursday was yesterday. Had lunch with Kurt again, this time at Booger King. Worked on a bunch of stuff while he was in exciting English. Met Anna at Borders, walked around Kinokuniya since Kurt needed to buy some book to critique on, sat at Starbucks where Anna saw a hot german guy who really wasn't hot at all (yeah, well...) aaand... What else did we do? Oh. She left to meet her friends at Coffee Bean. We walked all the way to the botanical gardens again, and I got to go through the jungle trail crap thing which was so awesome and fun (finally got one thing down on my list), except I kept walking into certain things because it was quite dark. At least there were a bunch of guys in bright red shirts in front of us. We sat in a few different places talking for the longest time. There were gay guys near us at one point. That was... interesting. Got home late-ish. I guess we lost track of time. (Hi mom, sorry about that. I know you read this. I love you.)

Oooh. The caterer guy just brought the food in. Silly me, I stamped the church's name upside down on his receipt thing. Hahaha.
