Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.

If you are what you eat, I am curry
The ears are feeding on Grandaddy - Elevate Myself

I watched X-Men with 12 other people on Friday. Watching a movie with that many people always results in the loss or inequitable gain of money. Someone gained the two dollars I lost (probably That Guy who didn't pay for his movie and got away with it), but in the wonderful vein of financial justice and having a very kind God my dinner was paid for that night. So life is good, not because I had a free dinner, but just because it's a lot more fun not being miserable over life, and I can't think of anything to be miserable about, anyway (Ecclesiastes has some good stuff to say.) Also, Liz and Josh came along for dinner that night, which was fun. I think we made the people in the back of the bus quite uncomfortable with the kind of stuff we talked about. And Austin and Pete met us a little bit later.

That paragraph seems quite hard to read, or maybe it's just me. I tend to not make sense when there are a thousand other things that I want to talk about as well.

I am not the sort to critique movies, simply because biting movie reviews are not my forte. I can argue with movies though. Meg had to sit next to me for the Da Vinci Code. She'd know. So anyway, here's my take on X-Men, considering the last few movies I saw were significantly worse:

X-Men < V for Vendetta < 16 Blocks|Mission Impossible:3 < The Producers < The Da Vinci Code < The Sentinel < n other mediocre movies I've seen in the past < Final Destination 3

The List isn't doing too bad, I tried bass yesterday and I have a ridiculously long road ahead to trek on, but what the heck. It should be fun. And I learned some basic sound stuff, like What Those Buttons and Switches and Plugs on That Mixer Actually Do. I am also currently back on the noble path of education. :-)

Interesting... Bizarre lyrics people bothered to infer into.

I also observed people yesterday on my way to meet Meg and Rach (Kill Rage!). Singapore is probably top on the list of nations with the most permanently-pissed-off-looking people, and I'm not surprised.
