Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.

If you are what you eat, I am an insane amount of cake The ears are feeding on mewithoutYou's Brother, Sister
Cool. The computer just froze.
Richard Dawkins (how honorable it is to have finally joined the frenzied circle of people who enjoy discussing such matters in regards to his name) is a rather stubborn old man. I just read this which obviously got me all riled up, inside out. I am definitely not qualified or well-read enough to write a stunning thesis on Richard Dawkins' misgivings but dare I say this haughtiness and superiority he exudes is an assurance and a security to what he cannot give an answer for... Isn't it within one's own intellect that it is easiest to seek solace and understanding? There is no mystery to solve. There is self-justification in your own achievements and qualifications. If that isn't selfishness embodied I don't know what else isn't plausible. Also, he doesn't seem to realise that his intellect is limited.
Then again, he doesn't believe in God. He doesn't believe that there is a need for God. There is no room for God in his life. Because Richard Dawkins is self-sufficient.
I just had a very long train of thought about all of this... So I have found out that the "beloved" Dr Dino is in jail for tax fraud... And scientists with a few grams of faith have come up with Theistic Evolution... We came from APES? That's dignified, alright. It also doesn't make sense how atheist scientists believe that there is wonder in nature and yet not believe in God. It had to come from somewhere, and it sure wasn't their imagination that everything just happened to come together and form what we know, what surrounds us.
There is just so much to take in, and so much to reject. Does all that really matter? I don't know yet. Perhaps I'll never know. Sometimes enjoying the mystery instead of being sucked into controversy is better. There is beauty in simplicity, NOT ignorance, and I am currently content knowing my future does not include the calling of a scientist and I therefore do not give a crap about theories that undermine my God.
