Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.

The ears are feeding on The Faint - The Geeks Were Right
i can't really be bothered to write about globalisation/economics/theology/ridiculous events that occur very frequently in my life/the state of the world (is the world in any state at all? what sort of conditions are required to determine a particular state of an entity? who judges so that there may then be a state?)/apple juice, or care as much as i used to five years ago when blogger.com landed on our internet explorer panels (was mozilla around then?) (i love parentheses) (they are so useful), outside of a conversation in a little white box that, once published, is flashed for all in the intorweb world to see.
the funny thing about irony and human beings is that i'm doing just that right now, perhaps in the secret hope that maybe, if i threw a few heavy words (globalisation) (economics) (america) (apocalypse) (pre-destination) around, people with ip addresses for faces would acknowledge me as one with at least an ounce of intellect and come back to this page expecting more, hence making the little sitemeter counter at the bottom of this page tick and ultimately give me the invisible ego stroke and utmost numerical assurance that i am READ.
this farcical medium is my pixellated words on your pixellated screen! DOMINATING YOUR PIXELLATED SCREEN! unless you are one of those ninjacore nuts who really dig technology and have screens that are 900000000 pixels per mm (or however the flip pixels work).
aaanyway. the new faint album has a very fat flat bass line going on in every song and it brings to mind a strangely endearing image of a tangle of tapeworms.
